Art Collecting & Financial Accessibility
Mini Art Print Collecting has been one of the most exciting and low effort hobbies (mostly) and being apart of the trading group on Facebook (Inciardi group) has opened my world up to much more than I thought possible. You have joined a community with me full of creative souls who amaze me daily with their innovations, artistic abilities, kindness, and interior design. And seeing the same names come up again and again has made me feel like I have made real friends in this space who just GET ME.
We have all come together on common ground over these mini prints that evoke feelings of different reasons for all of us! I personally mainly collect prints that mean something to me from my childhood, travel, or just special memories from my past. The people who care enough about me will be able to look at my collection and know why I chose XYZ as my favorite print to keep. Other people choose their prints for their own personal reasons and I think that’s why I enjoy it so much. We all have a story to share but are connected through this space, where all of our stories lead back to each other in some way or another.
For me, this world has been so exciting as someone who really loves and adores art at any level. My happy days are in museums and the happiest days are when I can purchase a piece for myself. Most of my “big” art has been bought through art student sales, vendor markets, or given to me by people who appreciate my love for it all. I hope one day I can purchase whatever I want, whenever I want, without worrying about the price tag but that is exactly why I love collecting these mini prints. It has really opened a door for me to get that exciting feeling of having something special to me on a much smaller budget and scale, although we probably shouldn’t talk too much about how much is invested after all this time of $10 here and $15 there.
